Secure read-only un-intrusive access

What do we mean by secure read-only un-intrusive access?

Amazon Web Services method of granting access to a third party application is through a process called delegated access. Our tool requires “Read-Only Access” through this method and the steps involved in setting this up after registration can be seen in a video below.

This read-only Access gives us access to:

  • Query Amazon CloudWatch metrics that are generated for EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, R53, etc
  • Query via API Amazon APIs that return back the attributes of EC2, S3, RDS, EBS, Route 53 etc
  • Perform calculations with these data that most people usually don’t have time to assess and evaluate.

What we don’t have access to:

  • At no time do we request access to your private keys or have access to read any of the contents in EC2, EBS, RDS, etc
  • At no time do we have access to read the contents of your S3 buckets
  • We don’t have access to make any changes inside your EC2, EBS, RDS, S3, etc
